When archipelago idyll meets digital accessibility
Almåsa Havshotell has chosen Frontwalker as its partner in its work to make its websites accessible in accordance with the Accessibility Act (LPTT).
The assignment includes manual testing, automated monitoring, and ongoing support for Almåsa’s developers from our accessibility specialists throughout the contract period.
This collaboration is particularly meaningful. Almåsa is not only a hotel and conference facility, but also a place with a greater purpose. They describe themselves as a modern meeting place in Stockholm’s southern archipelago, offering salt-sprayed meetings, weekends, conferences, parties and, not least, Svartkrogen, a unique dining experience in total darkness.
Almåsa is owned by Iris Förvaltning AB through the Foundation for the Visually Impaired, and any profits are reinvested in projects and activities for visually impaired organisations. Through our efforts, we support Almåsa in practising what they preach, in being inclusive and accessible at all levels.
‘We look forward to working with Almåsa Havshotell. They show that accessibility is not just about complying with the law, but about creating a digital experience that welcomes everyone.’
Magnus Nilsson, Business Area Manager, Frontwalker Group AB
